Narrative design

As a writer for top-grossing mobile phone game Lily’s Garden and a former BBC Bitesize producer, I know games. Whether it’s developing a new game or keeping players hooked on an existing one, I’m your girl.

Lily’s Garden: From The Ashes

I took everyone’s favourite two characters, Regina and Whitney, and gave them their very own love story. Creating two characters, Joe and Jolene, I gave Whitney a backstory and filled in part of the magical world of Lily’s Garden. I went on to co-write Season 6 of this popular ongoing weekly series.

Penny & Flo

Tactile’s second major narrative-driven mobile game tells the story of two women rebuilding their lives. I helped lend colour to the first chapter of that story by writing dialogue for the climax of the first season of this popular renovation game.

Dance Mat Typing

A little-known secret: one of the most popular pages on the BBC website belongs to Dance Mat Typing. This free game has been teaching children to type for over a decade, and I wrote two levels of it. After that I supervised voiceover recording and animation, too.
